Position Summary
The Head of Talent Acquisition and Management is responsible for talent recruitment, assessment, organizational development, onboarding, training and career development as well as employment brand, culture, and effectiveness.

You will:
·       Plan, direct and be responsible for the organizational people strategy and recruitment execution
·       Design and oversee recruitment strategies, recruitment processes and procedures, and candidate assessment practices
·       Be responsible for curating relationships with contingent or retained search engagements
·       Work with managers to optimize organizational design and effectiveness, including full-time and contingent workforce
·       Oversee talent review process, employee development and succession planning working closely with the leadership team
·       Oversee the onboarding process including pre-boarding, orientation and systems set-up
·       Develop and manage the employment brand and presence through social media and other avenues.
·       In partnership with Head of HR, be responsible for culture sustenance and improvement; leads activities that keep and improve cultural competitiveness as the organization evolves

You bring:
·       University degree; advanced degree(s) (MBA, MEd, PhD) preferred
·       Minimum of 8+ years of related experience in diagnostics or life sciences industry, preferred
·       Proficiency in programs such as recruiting, employee assessment, succession planning, employment branding, organizational development and cultural and organizational change
·       Proven leadership and team building skills. Ability to build consensus, rally support around common goals, build trust and to motivate groups and individuals. Proven negotiation and mediation skills. Ability to overcome obstacles to cooperation and to foster harmonious relations
·       Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
·       Well-developed problem-solving skills combined with experience working in a consultative manner in a positive and collaborative fashion
·       Adept at managing external service providers to meet objectives and budgets
·       Fast learner with the ability to deal with technical and business issues with equal skill to deal with ambiguities inherent in an emerging diagnostics company
·       Emotional maturity and ability to effectively facilitate change in an environment where the structure may evolve rapidly
·       Possesses a sense of urgency; identifies challenges and problems and takes the initiative to identify solutions
